Dr. Chester is board certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, as well as by the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is a Specialist in two different medical fields: Addiction Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine.
As an Osteopathic Physician or D.O., he was medically trained and licensed like an M.D., but had additional hands-on training in the musculoskeletal system. The musculoskeletal system is your body’s nerves, muscles, and bones. He treats people with pain; performs osteopathic manipulations, injections, and tests for muscle/nerve problems utilizing Electrodiagnostic Medicine/EMG and nerve conduction studies.
As an Addictionologist, Dr. Chester is medically trained to help people who are abusing drugs, alcohol and/or tobacco, in an outpatient setting.
